Suger Gliders are not an animal to keep if you are not prepared to provide a full, varied and to a certain degree a complex diet.

Below are recipes from various sources. I make these recipes up and place into ice cube trays. The cubes when frozen are placed in air tight containers and placed back in freezer.
I make a number of these recipes at the same time, so I can vary the food each night. Also doing it this way I can actually make enough food to last a number of months.

Recipes.

No 1
1 Papaya
1 Mango
A few slices of Apple
A couple of segments of Orange
1/2 a Carrot.

These are placed into a blender.

Hienz powdered baby food such as Peachy Porridge is mixed with hot water to the consistancy of a yoghurt.
A couple of tablespoons of fruit flavoured bio yohurt is added.
These are placed in the blender with the fruit and mixed, again to the consistancy of a yoghurt.

This is then pourded into the ice trays to be frozen.

All the following recipes are prepared as above, so only ingrediants will be given

No. 2

Papaya
6 Strawberries
6 chunks of melon
A few slices of Pear
6 Tablespoons of Powdered Baby Fruit ( mix with hot water )
Sweet Corn
Boiled Egg

No. 3

Jar of babies Chicken / Turkey dinner
Small amount of boiled rice / pasta
Small amount of mixed vegs, cook for few mins.
I add Eucalyptas Honey or my Gliders will not touch it.

Again blend all.

As well as the above cubes of food we also feed ( in seperate dishes ).

Some small sized chicken cat food ( good quality ) and mealworms, crickets and locusts.
Some small pieces of fruit such as mango, apple, berries etc and some poppy seeds.

Fresh water is available at all times. We use 2 water containers, one is a rodent type bottle and the other is a small bird water feeder.

Occasionally we add liquid calcium to the water and on other occasions we add Nectar to the water. The Sugar Gliders love the nectar solution.
